Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can French-cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can red beans, drained
  • 1 can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pork and beans (do not drain)
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. onion
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar (I use pickle juice)

    Brown onion in a little of the bacon drippings.

    Put beans, bacon and onion in large casserole.

    Add brown sugar and vinegar. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
