Bean Casserole

  • 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 cans (15 oz. each) baked beans, undrained
  • 2 cans butter beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can lima beans

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp.

    Put in bacon grease the cut up onion and cook.

    Add vinegar, salt, brown sugar and mustard, cover 20 minutes.

    Combine all beans in casserole and pour mixture over it. Sprinkle bacon on top.

    Cook 1 hour at 350°.
