  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can wax beans, drained
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 small jar pimentos
  • 1/2 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water

    Mix in large bowl:

    green beans, wax beans, onion, green pepper, pimentos, water chestnuts and celery.

    In saucepan, combine salad oil, honey, cider vinegar and water.

    Bring to boil. Pour over bean mixture.

    Let stand 6 hours in refrigerator. Serves 6.
