- 1/2 lb. dry marrow beans
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- ham bone
- 1 large potato
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce
Directions

1Soak beans overnight in water.

2Change water and boil with bay leaf, celery, onion and ham bone.

3Simmer 1 hour.

4Dice in the potato.

5Fry bacon and set aside.

6Add the tomato sauce to the bacon fat and cook together for 10 minutes.

7Add to beans. Continue simmering 45 minutes to 1 hour until beans are tender. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
