Directions

1Wash beans well. Put in pot with water, ham bone and pieces of ham.

2Fill water up to almost cover meat and bone.

3Stir and check occasionally.

4Have lid half off.

5Bring to a boil and then lower to low, cooking for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

6Serve with Pillsbury crescent rolls.
