- 2 to 3 Tbsp. bean sprout seeds
Directions

1Put seeds in 1-quart jar.

2Cover with cheesecloth and jar ring.

3Cover with 2 cups water and soak 8 hours.

4Drain water from jar.

5Fill with fresh water and drain once again.

6Sit jar on side on counter, away from direct sunlight.

7Repeat rinsing and draining 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 5 days until sprouts are 1/4-inch long.

8When ready to harvest, place jar in sun for several hours to increase chlorophyll.

9Rinse and drain well.

10Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
