Bean Sprouts Side Dish

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lbs soybean mixed sprouts
  • Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame salt
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons korean red pepper flakes

Directions

    In a large shallow pot, bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Add the salt and bean sprouts.

    Simmer the sprouts for about 5 minutes, tossing them a couple of times to mix evenly.

    Drain very well. Mix the soy sauce and sesame oil. Add to sprouts along with the remaining ingredients.

    Toss well and chill.
