Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. coriander
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. crushed tomatoes
Directions

1Cook meat, garlic, onion and green pepper in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to break up meat.

2Cook until onion is soft and meat has lost its pink color.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Bring to a boil.

5Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.

6Let simmer longer for even better flavor.
