  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 salt (good amount)
  • 3 tsp salsa for flavor
  • 1 lb beans rinsed and presoaked
  • 1 lb Bacon
  • 1 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 dash chili powder
  • 1 dash ground black pepper

Directions

    Bring Beans back to a boil and add bacon

    Cook until bacon is extremely tender
  3. 3
    Dice up bacon and return to beans
  4. 4
    Dice up onion and peel and dice tomatoes- add to beans
  5. 5
    Continue cooking for not more than 2 hours
