- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2 rounded tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (16 oz.) can cherry or peach pie filling
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place stick of margarine in a 2 1/2-quart baking dish and melt in oven while preheating. Meanwhile, combine dry ingredients.

3Stir in 3/4 cup milk (batter will be thin).

4Pour batter into center of melted margarine.

5Pour pie filling into center of batter.

6Bake about 50 minutes or until top is golden brown.

7Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
