  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 jars baby beets
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten

    Melt chocolate in a saucepan and cool.

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Put in a tube pan and bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.
