- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. sirloin or rib steak
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. undiluted chicken soup
- 1 c. canned mushrooms
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and pepper.

2Rub meat with garlic, pound flour mixture into meat and cut into tiny pieces.

3Melt butter, brown onion and remove.

4Put more lard in and brown meat.

5Remove meat; add water.

6Stir.

7Return onion, butter and meat to skillet. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

8Add soup, mushrooms and garlic. Cook uncovered on low heat 1 hour.

9Stir occasionally.

10Just before serving, stir in sour cream.

11Serve over noodles or rice.
