- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 1/2 lb. head cabbage, cut in 6 wedges
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 3 c. hot cooked rice
Directions

1In a large Dutch oven, saute beef, onions and celery until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender-crisp.

2Stir frequently to crumble meat.

3Arrange cabbage wedges on top of meat mixture.

4Blend tomato sauce and seasonings.

5Pour over cabbage. Cover, reduce heat and cook over low heat for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.

6Serve over beds of cooked rice.
