  • 4 to 5 c. cabbage, coarsely shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • at least 3 c. thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Melt oleo in large skillet.

    Add cabbage and onion, mixing well.

    Arrange potatoes over cabbage; sprinkle with caraway seed. Crumble beef over potatoes; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
