- 4 to 5 c. cabbage, coarsely shredded
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- at least 3 c. thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Melt oleo in large skillet.

2Add cabbage and onion, mixing well.

3Arrange potatoes over cabbage; sprinkle with caraway seed. Crumble beef over potatoes; sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4Pour tomato sauce over all and cover skillet.

5Cook over low heat until meat and potatoes are done, about 30 minutes.
