  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (26 to 30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) carton part-skim Ricotta cheese
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, defrosted and drained
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 10 uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese

    Heat oven to 375°.

    In a large nonstick skillet, brown beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes. Pour off drippings.

    Add salt, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and red pepper.
