Ingredients

  • 3 pound beef roast, pot roast boneless, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 each tomatoes peel and quarter
  • 4 ounces mushrooms juiced
  • 1/2 cup black olives pitted
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch basil sweet
  • 1 each bay leaves

Directions

    Heat oil in Dutch Oven or electric frying pan.

    Add meat and hrown well on both sides.

    Pour off fat and add the rest of the ingredients to the pan.

    Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
