  • 6 lb. beef roast
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (14 oz.) ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 c. water

    Cut beef into 5 or 6 chunks.

    Place in roaster.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over beef.

    Heat to boiling on top of range.

    Cover and place in 300° oven for 6 hours or until meat can be shredded.
