- 2 to 3 lb. boneless chuck roast
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 1 medium bottle catsup
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. Open Pit barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Trim excess fat from meat.

2Combine all ingredients and pour over beef in heavy pan.

3Cover and cook slowly 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

4When thoroughly cooked, remove any remaining fat. Separate beef by shredding in sauce.

5Serve on buns.
