  • 3 1/2 to 4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 small bottle catsup
  • 1 catsup bottle full of water
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. celery, chopped

Directions

    Place chuck roast in roasting pan.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast; cover pan.

    Bake in 325° oven about 3 hours or until fork-tender.
