  • 5 to 6 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 32 oz. bottle ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Pour liquid over meat, celery and onion after putting in roasting pan.

    Cover tightly and bake at 300° for 6 hours.

    When done, take fork and break meat up.

    Juice will be absorbed and meat will flake apart.
