- 5 to 6 lb. brisket
- 1/2 c. Italian salad dressing
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 can Franco American brown beef gravy (can use 2)
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- garlic powder
- seasoned meat tenderizer
Directions

1Place brisket on long sheets of heavy duty tinfoil crossed in roasting pan.

2Put tenderizer and garlic powder on both sides of beef and prick meat with a fork.

3In a bowl, mix salad dressing, onion soup, gravy and mushrooms.

4Pour over meat.

5Loosely cover and seal edges of tin foil lightly.

6You may want a second cover of foil to doubly secure.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour per pound.

8Cool with tin foil opened and slice when completely cool.
