- 1/4 to 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown ground beef in 1 tablespoon oil.

2Add cabbage, celery and onion in skillet.

3Transfer to 5-quart stock pot.

4Add remaining ingredients, plus 1 cup water, if needed.

5Stir and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
