Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round steak
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 small pkg. thin noodles
  • 1/2 pt. carton sour cream
  • 1 small pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 bunch green onions, cut up and leave raw
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • sweet basil and oregano (as desired)

Directions

    Brown the first 4 ingredients all together.

    Cook noodles.

    Mix the sour cream and cream cheese together well, then add raw onions and noodles and mix.

    In a large casserole, place 1/2 of the beef mixture, then all of the noodle mixture and 1/2 of the grated cheese, then add the rest of the beef mix and remaining cheese. Bake 1 hour.
