Beef Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 large pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheese

Directions

    Brown the ground beef in a large skillet until color disappears.

    Add onion, green pepper, tomatoes, parsley, ketchup and steak sauce.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and mix with beef mixture.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Add soup and mix lightly.

    Pour mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
