  • 1 lb. ground beef, cook until brown and drain off fat
  • 6 oz. macaroni, cook as directed on box and drain
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2/3 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 can (large) Durkee fried onions

Directions

    In 2-quart casserole, mix soup, milk, ketchup, Cheddar cheese, green pepper, onion, salt and 1/2 can fried onions.

    Add the ground beef (cooked) and the cooked macaroni to the soup mixture; mix.

    Cover, bake 40 minutes at 350°.

    Uncover, sprinkle with remaining onions and return to oven and bake 5 minutes longer.
