Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can cream mushroom soup
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1/3 cup milk
- 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
Directions

1In 10 inch skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender;

2drain excess fat.

3Stir in soup, 1/2 cup milk and pepper.

4Bring to boil.

5Meanwhile cook macaroni according to package directions;

6drain.

7Return to pan along with butter, 1/3 cup milk, cheese and green pepper.

8Heat and stir until butter and cheese are melted.

9Transfer meat mixture to a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.

10Spoon macaroni mixture on top.

11Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

12Uncover and bake 5 - 10 minutes more.
