Beef Hash Over Rice

- 1 (12 oz.) can roast beef with gravy, shred beef with fork
- 1 medium chopped onion or dry onion powder or dry onion soup
- 1 (14 or 16 oz.) can tomatoes, mashed with fork to look like stewed
- 1 pkg. Sweet 'N Low or 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 slice bread or cold biscuit
Directions

1Simmer together about 15 minutes (until onion is cooked) in a frying pan.

2Add 1 package Sweet 'N Low (or 1 teaspoon sugar). Add seasoning to taste (salt, pepper and herbs).

3Add 1 slice of bread (or cold biscuit, etc.).

4Crumble finely and stir to thicken hash.

5If too thick, add small amount of water. Serve over hot buttered rice.
