  • 2 lb. beef, diced in serving size
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c. sherry wine (not cooking wine)
  • 3/4 to 1 lb. mushrooms (optional)

Directions

    Use a good cut of beef (not stew meat).

    Dice and mix with remaining ingredients in covered casserole.

    Cook 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325° to 350°.

    Serve over buttered noodles or rice.
