Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 5 lbs beef (Trimmed of fat and sliced in 1/8 inch thick strips)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Frank's red hot sauce (or and hot sauce)

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients in a shaker.

    Layer beef in a large bowl with each layer 90 degrees from the previous and sprinkle with seasoning.

    Combine last 4 ingredients and pour over seasoned beef mixture.

    Cove and refrigerate overnight to 4 days.

    Remove from marinade and place in dehydrator and sprinkle with more of the seasoning mix. Run till dehydrated chewy and delectable.

    If you don't have a dehydrator or smoker place on wire racks and put in your oven at 150°F till done.
