- 1 lb. beef, cut in 1/4-inch strips
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 thin sliced pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Heat oil and add beef and cook quickly until browned.

2Combine soy sauce, water and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

3Pour over beef. Bring to a boil and add sliced onions and pepper.

4Cook on high for 4 minutes.

5To thicken, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, blended with 2 tablespoons of cold water.

6Add to mixture and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

7Good over rice!
