- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper sauce
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- dash of ground thyme
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 can whole tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked Minute rice
Directions

1Cook and stir ground beef in skillet until light brown; drain. Sprinkle beef with flour and salt.

2Stir in green pepper, onion, parsley, pepper, pepper sauce, garlic and thyme.

3Cook and stir over low heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.

4Stir water and tomatoes (with liquid) into beef mixture.

5Break up tomatoes with fork.
