- 6 thin slices sirloin roast
- 2 medium onions
- 10 slices bacon
- mustard (optional)
Directions

1Lay out beef on waxed paper.

2Dice onions and cut bacon in pieces.

3Saute onions and bacon.

4Place onions and bacon pieces on a paper towel to remove the fat.

5Spread thin layer of mustard on beef slices (optional).

6Put equal amounts of onions and bacon pieces on each slice of meat.

7Roll each slice of meat into a roll and secure with a toothpick.

8Brown each piece of meat on all sides.

9Pour water over meat and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

10Take meat out of liquid and thicken gravy with flour or cornstarch. Season gravy to taste.
