Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained), chopped or fresh tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
  • 2 to 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 frozen pkg. peas and carrots

Directions

    Brown meat in oil in skillet.

    Add other ingredients in Dutch oven.

    Bake in oven at 325° for 2 hours.

    (Can put in crock-pot for 4 to 5 hours.)
