- 2 lb. stew meat
- 2 c. water
- 12 oz. can V-8
- 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 3 c. potatoes
- 3 c. carrots
- 2 c. celery
- 2 small onions
- 1 small bag frozen peas or mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Roll stew meat in flour and brown in small amount of shortening.

2Combine all ingredients in large covered pot.

3Make sure there is enough liquid to cover all ingredients.

4Add water or more V-8 if necessary.

5Bake at 275° for 5 hours.
