  • 1 to 2 lb. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 5 to 6 potatoes, in chunks
  • 2 to 3 carrots, in chunks
  • 2 stalks celery, in chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. beef bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 to 3 c. V-8 juice

Directions

    Place everything into a roaster or large crock-pot.

    Cover with the V-8 juice and cook 1 1/2 hours at 350° in the oven or 6 hours in the crock-pot.
