- 2 lb. raw beef cubes (do not brown meat first)
- carrots, cut to suit
- potatoes, cut to suit
- onions, cut to suit
- celery, cut to suit
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. quick-cook tapioca
Directions

1Place beef cubes in baking dish.

2Add chunks of carrots, potatoes, onions and celery.

3Mix together tomato sauce, water and sugar; pour over the meat and vegetables.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.

5Scatter tapioca on top.

6Seal with foil.

7Place in a 325° oven for 2 to 3 hours or set oven at 200° and let cook all day. Can cook in heavy pan.
