  • 2 lb. beef cubes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 medium can peas, drained
  • 1 medium can carrots, drained
  • 1 small onion can, drained
  • 2 medium cans potatoes, drained
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • other spices to taste or mushrooms

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in covered casserole.

    Cover. Bake at 275° for 5 or more hours, until beef is tender.

    Stir several times; add water if begins to dry out.
