- 1 1/2 lb. stewing beef, cut up and seasoned with tenderizer, pepper and teriyaki
- 1 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- cleaned and cut celery, onions, carrots and potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 can water
Directions

1Cover bottom of pot with oil; add the bacon fat and butter or margarine.

2Saute onion. Add meat. Stir until brown. Add small can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water. Add celery and carrots. Simmer 1/2 hour.

3Add potatoes and simmer another 1 hour.

4Add peas.
