- 1 lb. beef (stew)
- 2 medium diced onions
- 4 medium potatoes
- 4 medium carrots
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c. water
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper (black)
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 4 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Season beef with salt, pepper

2and sprinkle flour to cover meat.

3Saute beef in onions and garlic until brown.

4Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes.

5Cook on medium heat for 1 hour.

6Add white potatoes.

7Cut potatoes in eighths.

8Cover and let simmer for 1 hour.
