- 1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin, cut into 3 x 1/2-inch strips
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed bouillon or broth
- 3 Tbsp. tomato juice
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. sherry
- hot cooked rice or noodles
Directions

1Coat beef with mixture of flour, salt and pepper.

2Brown meat in shortening in large frypan or Dutch oven.

3Stir in remaining ingredients, except sour cream, sherry and rice.

4Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cook for 20 to 30 minutes.

5Stir in sour cream and sherry; heat through, but do not boil.

6Serve over rice or noodles.
