Ingredients

  • 2 lb. filet of beef
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms (or canned)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef bouillon
  • 1/4 c. wine (your choice)
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 box wild rice
  • equal serving of white rice

Directions

    Cut beef into small bite size pieces (sprinkle with unseasoned tenderizer or Cavender's Greek seasoning, if you wish).

    Slowly heat large, heavy skillet. Melt margarine (3 tablespoons); add beef.

    Over high heat, sear quickly on all sides.

    Remove beef as it browns and put aside.
