- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 lb. round steak
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) bouillon or consomme, diluted to make 2 c.
- 1 c. commercial sour cream
Directions

1Saute mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons butter and remove from pan.

2Remove fat and bone from steak.

3Cut into strips 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4-inch wide.

4Melt 2 tablespoons butter in pan. Toss meat in flour, coating thoroughly.

5Brown meat in butter and add salt and bouillon water mixture.

6Simmer, stirring occasionally until meat is tender, about 1 1/4 hours.

7Add mushrooms, onions and sour cream.

8Serve over rice or noodles.
