- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. stew meat, cut into bite size pieces
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- enough beef broth to cover meat
- 1 small container sour cream
- rice or noodles
Directions

1In a skillet, add oil.

2Put flour, salt and pepper in a baggie.

3Add meat a little at a time.

4Shake to coat.

5Add to hot oil and brown.

6Scrape all into crock-pot.

7Add enough beef broth to cover.

8Heat on high for 1 hour.

9Turn to low; let cook 6 to 8 hours (until meat is tender).

10Fifteen minutes before serving, add mushrooms.

11Cook either rice or noodles.

12Just before serving, add sour cream.
