Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. boneless tenderloin or sirloin
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 c. beef bouillon (cubes)
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms or 1 medium can
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • noodles or rice

Directions

    Cut meat into 2 x 1/4 x 1/4-inch strips or cubes.

    Coat 6 to 8 strips at a time in mixture of 1/2 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

    Melt butter in skillet; add meat and onion. Brown slowly.
