- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 (2 oz.) jars button mushrooms
- 1 c. water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- cooked noodles or rice
Directions

1Cut meat in long strips, then in 1-inch pieces.

2Fry until brown.

3Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

4Sprinkle flour over all and brown again.

5Add mushrooms with liquid and 1 cup of water. Simmer until tender (at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours).

6Add cream of mushroom soup.

7Heat thoroughly.

8Add sour cream and heat just before serving.

9Serve over noodles or rice.
