- 1 1/2 lb. lean steak
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. diet margarine
- 1 large can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 tsp. dried mustard
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 3/4 c. nonfat plain yogurt or nonfat sour cream
Directions

1Cut steak into 1/2-inch strips.

2Remove any fat.

3Pat dry with paper towel.

4Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

5Melt 1 tablespoon margarine in frying pan.

6Add meat; cook and stir until brown. Remove meat from pan; set aside.

7Cook onion and mushrooms in same pan until tender.

8Return meat to pan.

9Mix the broth, mustard and catsup; pour over meat.

10Cover; simmer for 1/2 hour.

11Make paste of flour and water; stir into pan.

12Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.

13Add yogurt or sour cream; do not boil.

14Serve over cooked noodles.
