- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak or beef cubes
- flour
- beef stock or bouillon cubes
- 1 pkg. mushroom gravy mix
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cook mushrooms and onion in butter for 3 minutes.

2Remove and put in saucepan with beef stock (or bouillon cubes with water). Add floured 1-inch cubes of round steak or beef cubes.

3Add more butter if needed.

4Brown quickly, then put in saucepan of beef stock.

5Season to taste with salt and black pepper.

6Cover tightly and cook 1 hour or until meat is tender.

7Add 1 package of gravy mix.

8Ten minutes before serving, stir in sour cream.

9Serve with or on top of wide noodles or mashed potatoes.
