- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut into thin slices
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces (undrained)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Preheat 10-inch skillet, uncovered, over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

2Melt butter in the skillet, then add steak slices and onion.

3Brown about 5 minutes.

4Add bouillon cube and water; cover.

5Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.

6Add soup, mushrooms, salt and pepper, stirring to blend.

7Cover and heat 10 minutes.

8Add sour cream, stirring to blend.

9Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.

10Serve over hot cooked egg noodles.
