- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 1 jar mushrooms
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 pt. (1 c.) sour cream
- parsley
- hot cooked noodles
Directions

1Trim excess fat from meat. Cut into 2 x 1/2-inch strips. Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt and paprika.

2Coat meat with flour mixture.

3In skillet, brown beef strips in cooking oil. Remove meat and set aside. Cook onion, garlic and mushrooms in skillet drippings until onion is tender but not brown.

4Blend in the 2 tablespoons flour.

5Add beef consomme, wine and Worcestershire sauce.

6Cook and stir over medium-high heat.

7Heat until bubbly. To remaining sauce in skillet, blend in sour cream and parsley. Return browned beef strips to skillet.

8Heat through.

9Do not boil. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Serves 4.
