- 1 1/2 lb. boneless round steak
- 1/2 envelope onion soup mix (2 Tbsp.)
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (reserve liquid)
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Directions

1Trim fat from meat and render in skillet.

2Remove rendered pieces with slotted spoon and discard.

3Cut meat into 1/4-inch strips, 2 or 3-inches long.

4Put 1/4 quantity of meat into skillet, browning quickly.

5Repeat until all meat is cooked, then return meat to skillet.

6Stir in soup mix and mushrooms with liquid; heat until bubbly and meat is tender.

7Slowly stir in sour cream until blended, stirring constantly until heated.

8Serve over noodles.
